Dr. Petros A. Tarantilis

Assistant Professor  of Instrumental Analysis of Plants

Assist. Professor Petros Tarantilis attended Agricultural University of Athens for his undergraduate and graduate work. He recieved his B.Sc. from the Food Science and Technology Department in 1987 and his Ph.D. from the Department of Science in 1994. He is now Assist. Professor of Instrumental Analysis of Plants at the A.U.A. His research interests involve the isolation, purification and structure determination of natural products using spectroscopic techniques, the instrumental analysis of food as well as the development of new techniques for the separation, evaluation and analysis of main compounds of natural products.
