Role and Contribution

Hellas Energy & Co, (HEN) is SME partner and will contribute to the different stages of the proposed project as defined in the work program.

 

R&D activities and experience

HELLAS ENERGY established in 1986 by the engineers P. Moschovitis and K. Bouzianas. The company deals with study, installation and maintenance of air conditioning systems, industrial cooling and energy saving, in industry, buildings, shipping and greenhouses.

Main topics of activity is the study, equipment procurement, installation and maintenance of the following systems:

HELLAS ENERGY has an experienced and high-qualified staff, fully equipped studies’ department, and a modern laboratory where special equipment is manufactured and repaired, such as electrical panels, power engineering components etc.

HELLAS ENERGY, since its establishment has participated in several EU projects aiming at confirming its access to the updated technology. Customers of the company are well known national and international companies, such as:

In the proposed project the following scientists from the staff of HEN will be involved:

Mr. Konstantinos Bouzianas, Mechanical-Electrical engineer of National Technical University of Athens. For more than 20 years specialized in thermal processes application such as cooling-heating in food and beverage industry, preservation, space air conditioning energy saving in buildings and industry.

Mr. Christos Mavrommatis, BSc in mechanical engineer. For more than 30 years specialized in designing and constructing of heating-cooling systems. Supervisor of industrial constructions, in the field of food and beverage preservation and machinery.

Mr. Dimitris Manolakos, Mechanical Engineer of National Technical University of Athens. 10 years experience in energy modelling of hybrid Renewable Energy Systems for Electricity and Heat generation. He has more than 10 publications in national and international conferences and three publications in international journal.
