Role and Contribution

WIP is an SME specialized on RES assessments, formulation of implementation plans, product development, coordination of pilot projects, drawing up strategies to overcome market barriers, project management and project monitoring. WIP is experienced on water storage options. As a well known organization in the field of RES will play an important role in product commercialization exploiting its numerous contacts in the desalination market and promoting the end product in conferences, congresses and exhibitions.

R&D activities and experience

Founded in 1968, WIP is active the fields of water resources and management, environmental issues and renewable energies. The company’s work bridges the gap between project concepts and implementation. WIP’s activities involve strategic and socio-economic analyses which accompany market-oriented projects and products. In this capacity, WIP has gained experience in market assessments, formulation of implementation plans, product development, coordination of pilot projects, drawing up strategies to overcome market barriers, project management and project monitoring. Over the last 30 years, the company has acquired an international reputation by providing comprehensive technical and economic expertise in private and public projects, on an international stage. Funding organizations have included a variety of public and private bodies, and the EC.

Dr. Christian Epp, having a legal diploma, is specialized in European energy and water legislation. Working for the European Commission DG TREN on 1999 and 2000 he supported various international R & D projects. Dr. Christian Epp manages for WIP several water related projects including:

Maurice Pigaht has a mechanical engineering degree from Imperial College in London. At WIP in Munich his project work includes market analyses, socio-economic issues and technology transfer. In this capacity, he has authored and co-authored numerous reports and proposals on renewable energy issues.
