Food Quality Assessment by Biosensors Using Flow Injection

We are collaborating with Prof. Papastathopoulos team in the "Biosensors for the Assay of Food Quality" European Community program.
Our task is the development of an automated flow injection amperometric analyser and a cyclic voltammetry  module.
A flow injection amperometric method for the determination of lysine in foods is also under development. In this project we use lysine oxidase, immobilized on gold electrodes placed in a wall-jet flow-through cell.
