Mr. Panagiotis Kalozoumis , was awarded a Diploma in Agriculture from the Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) in 2017 and since the beginning of 2018 is a Ph.D. candidate in the Laboratory of Vegetable Production (AUA) under the supervision of Professor Dimitrios Savvas. His research interests include greenhouse or field vegetable production, soilless cultivation systems, organic production, urban farming etc. His bachelor thesis was about cultivating vegetables in green roofs, a study conducted in collaboration between the Laboratory of Vegetable Production and the Laboratory of Floriculture & Landscape Architecture of AUA. He also participated as a speaker in the 28th Congress of the Hellenic Society of Fruit and Vegetable Science (2017). At the moment he is a member of the research team of the European project TOMRES (HORIZON2020) at the Laboratory of Vegetable Production (AUA).
